Earlier to this , the filmmakers already had announced that trailer of this film will be out at 13:03 as this marks the historic importance of 1303 AD when Rawal Ratan Singh first fought with Alauddin Khilji .
As expected, Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati is just mesmerizing in the trailer while Shahid Kapoor who plays Rawal Ratan Singh in the movie is suited for the role that he has portrayed. However, the one who leaves us more stunned is Ranveer Singh who plays the negative character of Alauddin Khilji. The actor almost steals the show with his larger than life screen presence. Along with this, the eye catching sets and the ethnic traditional colorful costumes in the trailer shows the magnificence of the movie . Padmavati revolves around the story of an invader attacking Chittor for getting the beautiful Rani Padmavati. Earlier, the karni sena had attacked the set of Padmavati claiming that the filmmakers have slanted the history. However, now the film is all set to hit cinemas on 1 December 2017.
