Shreyas Talpade was born on January 27, 1976 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. He did his schooling from Shree Ram Welfare Society’s High School. Shreyas Talpade is an Actor of Marathi and Hindi movie star. He married to a psychiatrist name Deepti. Shreyas met his wife in her college when he went as a celebrity. She was a General Secretary of the College. Jayshree Talpade and Meena Talpade are bollywood actresses who are his Aunty. He started his career appearing in Marathi Soap. Through his acting in Marathi films and television gave him fame. He started getting movies in Hindi film industry.

Shreyas Talpade started out acting in many Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra. Talpade has acted in small-Natok for the generation in ‘Adhikari Brothers’. Also, his Marathi good serial name is Damini. He did his debut in Bollywood in the year with Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal, in which he played the role of a deaf youngster aspiring to be a cricketer. The film and his performance were well-received by audiences and critics. His next film was too with Nagesh Kukunoor which was Dor in which he played the comic role of a behroopiya, a man with many disguises. This film was also well-received by critics. Then his comedy movie name is Apna Sapna money in the year of 2007. He was also the part of Farah Khan’s blockbuster movie, Om Shanti Om, with Shah Rukh Khan, where he played the role of Pappu Master.

He is mostly noted for his comedy roles in movies like Golmaal returns, Housefull 2 and Golmaal 3. He was recently seen in movies like Welcome to Sajanpur and click a film by Sangeeth Sivan. He won the Star Dust Breakthrough award for his acting skills in the blockbuster Om Shanti Om. He is still remembered for his role in the movie Iqbal. Following Om Shanti Om he also acted in movies like Bombay To Bangkok in the year 2008 and in the same year he went ahead to produce a marathi film named Sanai Chaughade. He also did the horror film ‘Help’ and David Dhawan’s ‘Hook Ya Crook’. Also Shreyas Talpade ‘s Wah Taj is  Hindi film which revolves around a farmer who claims the land on which Taj Mahal has been built as his ancestral property. Shreyas Talpade playing the role of a farmer said “My character is a representation of 99% of the farmers in India.
