Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has completed his 5 year jail sentence today, i.e. on Thursday, 25 February, 2016. This is indeed a moment of great happiness for his fans, friends and family members.
Dutt was arrested and sentenced to undergo five years’ rigorous imprisonment for illegal possession of arms during the March 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. He was arrested in 1993, and had already served 18 months as an under-trial, later he was sent to jail again in May 2013 to serve the remaining part of the imprisonment.
After he came out of the Jail’s gate he saluted the National Flag at the premises, met his family and friends waiting for him and also addressed the media. He said, “I am here because of their (fans’) support. And there is no easy road to freedom, my friends.”
The actor has been in news even when he was serving the jail sentence. His Bollywood friends want him to get back to work. Film maker Rajkumar Hirani plans to make the third instalment of Munna Bhai with the actor and, is also working on Dutt’s biopic film. Also, film maker Umesh Shukla is keen to work with Dutt and also has the script ready. We also informed our readers that, Sanjay Dutt wants to make a film on the life of his cell inmate. So, several projects are already line up for Dutt.
